Just 30 minutes drive away from Condado de Alhama you arrive at the beautiful cities of Murcia and Cartagena.

Cartagena is a Port city and Naval base, with museums, shops, cafes and restaurants.  Amongst its many Roman ruins are a 1st century BC theatre and 3rd century BC defensive wall.

Boat trips from the port of Cartagena run frequently throughout the year and here you will see many spectacular yachts and cruise ships.

THE NATIONAL PARK SIERRA ESPUÑA AND ALHAMA DE MURCIA

Just 10 minutes away from the resort you can find the nearest town Alhama de Murcia that offers a weekly market, shopping, bars and restaurants, local school (school bus runs from Condado de Alhama) and clinic.  The roman ruins and museum here are certainly worth a visit !

The Sierra Espuña Natural Park (just 20 minutes away from Condado) is a pine clad haven of cool in the summer and provides a beautiful place for walks and other activities. There are restaurants and numerous recreation areas for family picnics and BBQs.

Activities include quad biking, cycling, canoeing, climbing, horse riding, paragliding and much more offering something for everyone. Also worth a visit are the beautiful blue lagoons at nearby Gebas and Pantano de Cenajo.
